Whitehaven Beach

Only accessible by boat or air, Whitehaven Beach offers 7km of pristine white silica sand, and ranks among the top ten beaches in the world.

You can choose to enjoy cruising to Whitehaven Beach by boat or arrive by seaplane or helicopter. Though make sure to allow time to sit on the beach with your feet in the sane and enjoy some champagne with your guests before saying your ‘I dos’.

Whitehaven Beach now issues permits for receptions so if you don’t want to leave after your ceremony, you don’t have to! Alternatively you can enjoy a sunset cruise back to Airlie Beach – long enough for a celebratory dinner or just some nibbles and drinks, or stay on board a little longer for a full reception.
